Active and passive voice rules are following:

Rule no.1 :

Converting an Active Voice Sentence into a Passive Voice sentence, the subject is converted into an object, and the object is converted into an object.
According to active and passive voice rules converting the subject into an object the name of person, place, or thing remains the same

Active: I am going to market.
Passive: Market is being gone to by me.

In a passive voice sentence, we convert "i" into "me".


Rule no. 2 :

Always use "3rd form of the verb" in passive voice sentences.
For Example: 
Active voice: He plays Cricket.
Passive voice: Cricket is played by him.
In this sentence, we use 3rd form of "write".


Rule no. 3 :

Always use "by" before writing "subject" into "object".
For example:
They write a letter.
A letter is written by them.
In this sentence, we use "by" before converting the subject into an object.

Rule no. 4 : 

According to active and passive voice rules, We use "been" in Passive Voice sentences if there is "3rd form of the verb" in active voice sentences.
In Present Perfect Tense, Past Perfect Tense, and Future Perfect Tense we always use 3rd form of the verb, so when we are making the passive voice of these tenses, we always keep in mind that always use "been" in the sentences of these tenses.
For example:
Active:  He has made a cake.
Passive: A cake has been made by him.
Active: I have eaten Apples.
Passive: Apples have been eaten by me.
Active: We have learned Active and passive voice.
Passive: Active and passive voice has been learned by us.

Rule no. 5 :

We use "being" in Passive Voice Sentence if there is "the first form of the verb with ing" in active voice sentence.

According to active and passive voice rules Present Continuous Tense, Past Continuous Tense, we use 1st form of the verb with ing in active voice sentences, so when we are making the passive voice of these tenses, we always keep in mind that always use "being" in the sentences of these tenses.
For example:
Active:  We are taking exercise.
Passive: Exercise is being taken by us.
Active: We are writing a post.
Passive: A post is being written by us.

Rule no. 6 :

If there is "Who" in active sentence we must change "who" into "by whom" in the passive voice sentence.
For example:
Active: Who is writing a letter?
Passive: By whom a letter is being written.

Active and passive voice rules for Present Indefinite tense:

In active and passive voice rules, we convert a present indefinite tense sentence into passive voice by using the following method:
  1. Always remember that we use "is, am, are" while converting active voice sentences into passive voice sentences of present indefinite tense.
Active voice: We eat Pizza.
Passive voice: Pizza is eaten by us.

·         Always use “is, am, are” in Passive voice sentences of Present Indefinite tense

·         Always use “was, were” in Passive voice sentences of Past Indefinite tense

·         Always use “will be, shall be” in Passive voice sentences of Future Indefinite tense

According to Rule no.6

·         Always use “being” in Passive voice sentences of Present continuous

According to active and passive voice rules, the active voice of future indefinite tense is not converted into passive voice.

Active and passive voice rules for Perfect Tense:

According to Rule no.4

·       We always use “been” in passive voice sentences of Perfect Tenses.

 According to active and passive voice rules, the active voice of all perfect continuous tenses are not converted into passive voice.
